Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, with its new selection of fly-cruise cruises, will sail the Mediterranean by 2025, aiming to offer guests shorter cruise experiences.
As part of its global program for 2025-26, the shipping company has unveiled several seven- to twelve-night Mediterranean cruises aboard the Balmoral.
These new itineraries offer visits to various destinations, such as the cities of Cinque Terre and Amalfi, the Bay of Kotor and the Greek islands.
Martin Lister, Head of Itinerary Planning and Destination Experiences at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “Our expert travel planners have poured their hearts into creating a program they are truly proud of.”
“Our new range of shorter fly-cruise options to the Mediterranean offers a number of trips to some of its most inspiring destinations, where guests can really maximize their time to explore ashore and with the advantage of sailing for less time than departing from the UK.”
He added: “Among the itineraries, guests will have the opportunity to visit Barcelona’s captivating Sagrada Familia, sail along Croatia’s spectacular Makarska Riviera, see Istanbul’s stunning Hagia Sophia mosque, and admire the whitewashed domed houses of Santorini.”
