The first ship from Cruise Saudi's cruise line, Aroya Cruises, has arrived at the Bredo shipyard in Bremerhaven to begin renovation work, which is expected to last well into 2024.

This is the World Dream of Genting Hong Kong, temporarily renamed Manara and built in 2017, which docked at the container terminal and is awaiting renovation, although the details of the works are kept secret, although it is known that interior renovations will be included, as well as a renewal of the main engines.
The vessel will be moved to a dock to begin work next fall by Bredo Dry Docks and Lloyd Werf, who are collaborating on this project. The cost of the modernization and the suppliers who will carry out the ship's interior work are currently unknown.
Once the works are completed, the ship will return to dry dock at the end of winter or the beginning of next spring, before the presentation of this cruise ship intended mainly for the Saudi market.
Lars Clasen, CEO of Cruise Saudi, stated that “Aroya Cruises will create an exceptional experience for the Arab passenger” and added that “the launch of Aroya Cruises adds a new experiential dimension to the Saudi tourism sector.”.

Clasen stated that the approach includes top-level facilities and services and the creation of memorable experiences for local and regional guests based on the values of inspiration, enrichment, generosity, and respect.
“The company is also working on selecting and perfecting the shore excursion program, carefully choosing destinations and ports that will allow our guests to experience an extraordinarily Arabian experience like never before.”.
