Scenic has confirmed that its new Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, is scheduled to set sail in April 2023, with construction progressing as planned. The Scenic Eclipse II's maiden voyage will be the Incredible Iberian Discovery, an 11-day cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona.

With the construction of the Scenic Eclipse II nearing completion, Scenic has provided one of the many upgrades to the new Discovery yacht. The construction progress is showcased in a video recently released by Scenic Cruises' Vice President of Marine Operations, James Griffiths.
The Scenic Eclipse sets a benchmark for wellness with its expansive 550m² Spa Senses, featuring men's and women's wellness areas equipped with a sauna, steam room, hot and cold therapies, relaxation lounges, and a manicure and pedicure studio. The outdoor deck offers guests relaxation and spa lounges, as well as the only yoga and pilates studio on a ship of its size. The Scenic Eclipse II continues this commitment, expanding the steam room area to include aromatherapy and an integrated ice fountain and ice shower experience, and introducing the KLAFS salt therapy room with heated beds enhanced with aromatherapy essences designed to benefit mind, body, and soul.

Due to the success of the state-of-the-art KLAF infrared chairs on the Scenic Eclipse I, designed to relieve back pain and promote muscle relaxation, an infrared chair with an ocean view has been added, featuring color light therapy to energize and revitalize the skin.
On deck 10, a new bar area with indoor and outdoor seating will be a highlight for guests to enjoy the stunning views with a drink in hand, while sailing through the Antarctic, the Arctic or the Mediterranean.
A large oval pool with a comfortable relaxation area. A perfect spot for deck parties.
The Scenic Eclipse II, specially built for this region and the Polar Class-6 rating, guarantees a safe and comfortable expedition in polar waters, with the Scenic team of experts providing guests with fascinating insights and once-in-a-lifetime excursions.

Other destinations include the High Arctic, waterfalls in Iceland, the Denmark Strait in search of whales, glaciers and the spectacular icebergs of Disko Bay; or Australia with the northern territories from Cairns to Darwin, the Great Barrier Reef; etc.
