Azamara presents 84 itineraries around Europe on its fleet of four ships for 2024. Of the 84 new itineraries, 53 are intensive country trips, with more than 50% of the port calls being overnight or one-night stays, allowing guests plenty of time to delve into the local culture and the hidden gems of each country.
On September 9, Azamara will also launch a new video series, “Lens of a Local,” which will allow guests to gain an exclusive insight into the immersive excursions that can be experienced from a local’s perspective on an Azamara trip.
“Our intensive country tours have proven to be guest favorites, so we are delighted to offer even more options to discover all that European countries have to offer,” says Carol Cabezas, President of Azamara.

'Lens of a Local' tells the stories of local artisans around the world, providing a unique insight into their traditions and crafts that Azamara guests can participate in on the cruise line's immersive shore excursions.
“Lens of a Local” will feature firsthand accounts from a gondolier in Venice, Greek dancers in Crete and a perfumer in Florence, to name a few, and will premiere on Azamara’s social channels with the first three episodes to be released on September 9, September 23 and October 7.
European Itineraries 2024
Azamara's 2024 European itineraries will feature stops at unique ports such as:
– Taranto, Italy: An inaugural port for Azamara.
– Hamburg, Germany: “the gateway to the world”.
– Trollfjord, Norway: a narrow fjord available to the Azamara fleet.
– Edinburgh (Leith), Scotland.
