Silversea Cruises opens an exclusive pre-sale for its Controtempo World Cruise for 2025, inviting guests to travel off-season to 59 destinations in 30 countries across four continents.
Presented by cruise line executives during a special live-streamed event, the 136-day Controtempo World Cruise will depart from Tokyo for New York on January 13, 2025, and will discover some of the world's most iconic and off-the-beaten-path destinations during unconventional seasons, with immersive experiences that introduce the local population and compelling stories.
Guests will travel aboard the ultra-luxury Silver Dawn for the voyage, marking the first time a Muse-class ship has hosted a round-the-world trip.
The Controtempo World Cruise 2025 was unveiled at a virtual premiere, featuring a video starring Fernando Barroso de Oliveira, Silversea's President's Ambassador to the Venetian Society. Following a brief introduction, attendees posed questions to Roberto Martinoli, President and CEO of Silversea Cruises; Barbara Muckermann, Chief Commercial Officer of Silversea Cruises; and Fernando.

Featuring 33 overnight stops, seven exclusive events, three optional shore excursions, and 19 inaugural ports of call, the Controtempo World Cruise 2025 is poised to deliver new and immersive experiences for Silversea’s most well-traveled guests. The voyage will be divided into 10 segments:

- Hong Kong to Singapore – January 27 – February 7
- Singapore to Mumbai – February 7 – February 24
- Mumbai to Istanbul – February 24 – March 16
- Istanbul to Naples – March 16 – March 25
- Naples to Lisbon -March 25 – April 3
- Lisbon to Southampton – April 3 – April 12
- Southampton to Stockholm – April 12 – April 30
- Stockholm to Reykjavik – April 30 – May 13
- Reykjavik to New York – May 13 – May 29
The 596-guest Silver Dawn will host Silversea's World Cruise 2025, designed to enhance the guest experience. Silversea's newest ship, the ultra-luxury vessel, maintains the intimate feel of smaller ships and the spacious all-suite ocean-view accommodations that are the hallmark of the industry-leading cruise line, while introducing innovative features such as eight restaurants; eight bars and lounges; Silversea's culinary program, SALT; and the cruise line's Roman-inspired wellness program, Otium.
Culinary immersion will play a major role throughout the journey, with SALT.
The presale for the Controtempo World Cruise 2025 opens today for members of the Venetian Society, while the general sale opens to the public on August 2, 2022.
