The Port of Vigo has received the inaugural call of the Scenic Eclipse. The ship, belonging to the Scenic Group shipping company, arrived today, Monday, June 20th, at 8:00 a.m. with 155 passengers and 190 crew members on board and is scheduled to depart from the cruise terminal around 7:00 p.m.
On the occasion of his first visit to the Vigo harbor, the president of the Vigo Port Authority, Jesús Vázquez Almuiña, participated in the traditional exchange of plaques with the ship's captain.
During its stay in the Port of Vigo, the ship took on board a submarine that was transported by truck this weekend from Barcelona, where it was repaired. The Scenic Eclipse shared a berth with the Ventura, from the P&O shipping company. It arrived at 7:30 a.m. with 1,080 crew members and 2,269 passengers and is scheduled to leave the Maritime Station around 5:00 p.m.
