Carnival Cruise Line offers a variety of dining options on its cruises, and for those with food allergies, having a range of healthy choices is important for safety. That's why Carnival is now introducing the Menu Mate program across its fleet to accommodate guests with special dietary needs more efficiently than ever before.

“Ensuring everyone is included in the fun and has the best possible experience is extremely important to us,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “We are always looking for new ways to enhance our guests’ experiences, and that’s exactly what this new program on our ships does for those with food allergies.”
The Menu Mate program, which is easily operated on touchscreen tablets in food outlets across the Carnival fleet, is the first of its kind among major cruise lines.
“I’m a lifelong cruiser and, as a person with food allergies, I’m thrilled to help share this effort with my fellow cruise lovers,” said Shandee Chernow, CEO and founder of CertiStar.
The new Menu Mate program is easy to use for both guests and crew. Staff members enter any restrictions into the program, and it categorizes all available options, showing which items are allergen-friendly, which options can be modified to exclude them, and which selections should be avoided.
