Norwegian Cruise Line has canceled the Norwegian Prima's maiden voyage from Amsterdam due to supply chain issues. The ship was scheduled to depart on August 17, 2022, for an 8-night cruise through Northern Europe, visiting Brussels, Bergen, Geiranger, Akureyri, and Ísafjörður, before concluding in Reykjavík, Iceland, on August 25.
The company has notified affected passengers of the cancellation in a statement that reads: “We value your loyalty and always strive to provide you and your loved ones with the experience of a lifetime. Therefore, we are very sorry to inform you that, as a result of supply chain issues, we are forced to cancel the Norwegian Prima's August 17, 2022 departure from Amsterdam, Netherlands.”
