The cruise industry's and Norwegian Cruise Line's first NFT collection sold out within 20 minutes of launching its new online NFT sales portal. The collection was created by Manuel Di Rita, known as "Peeta," the Italian artist who illustrated the exceptional hull of the record-breaking Norwegian Prima and its sister ship, the Norwegian Viva.
The only remaining piece up for auction, “Norwegian Prima Hull Art,” closes bidding on April 21. The auction winner will also receive a balcony stateroom on one of the Norwegian Prima’s inaugural voyages to the United States, departing from NCL’s new PortMiami terminal in Miami, the cruise capital of the world.
All proceeds from the auction and NFT sales will be donated to Teach For America.

Beginning with its launch in August 2022, the Norwegian Prima will offer inaugural voyages to Northern Europe from Southampton, England; Amsterdam; and Reykjavík, Iceland; departures to Bermuda from New York City beginning October 6; and Caribbean itineraries from Galveston, Texas, and Miami beginning October 27.
