Expanding its offering of luxury adventure travel to remote destinations around the world, Atlas Ocean Voyages has unveiled new voyages for summer and fall 2023. The new Atlas season, comprising 34 voyages aboard the two luxurious ships, the World Navigator and the World Traveller, begins on March 26, 2023, and will span four continents on itineraries ranging from seven to 21 nights.
The World Navigator will sail around Africa and the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas, while the World Traveller will cruise around Central and South America, the Caribbean, West Africa and the Western Mediterranean, Ireland and the British Isles, the Norwegian fjords, Iceland, Greenland and the Arctic.
Atlas adds 60 new destinations for the season and offers overnight stays in 46 ports, providing more immersive experiences in small and exclusive destinations that larger ships cannot reach.

After completing its second season in Antarctica, the World Navigator sets an eastward course from Ushuaia to Cape Town, passing through South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and Ascension and Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic. The ship then heads north along the west coast of Africa to the Canary Islands and Morocco, before crossing the Strait of Gibraltar and entering the Alboran and Mediterranean Seas. The World Navigator also offers the most enticing destinations in the Mediterranean, including Spain, France, and Italy. At the height of the season, travelers can also choose luxury adventures that reveal the vibrant colors and cultures of the Adriatic, the Greek islands, and Turkey. The World Navigator then resumes its westward course in early autumn across the Mediterranean, continuing on to Brazil and Argentina before arriving back in Ushuaia on November 9.
Meanwhile, the newly launched World Traveller heads north from Ushuaia, taking guests to explore the heritage and natural splendor along the coasts of Chile and Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. The World Traveller will transit the Panama Canal and sail through the southern Caribbean before crossing the Atlantic to the Canary Islands. From the Canaries, it offers two itineraries combining the archipelago with Morocco. The ship then continues north to the British Isles, Ireland, the Norwegian fjords, and Greenland. The World Traveller will cross the 66th parallel north in August, offering multiple opportunities to view the Northern Lights, including three Arctic expeditions to Svalbard. It will then circumnavigate Iceland and head south, passing through the British Isles, Ireland, France, and Spain, concluding its season on October 16 in Lisbon.
The World Navigator, launched in August 2021, and the World Traveller, launched in October 2022, feature 98 suites, single suites without single supplements, and cabins, and are the line's first two small expedition ships, taking travelers to smaller, more authentic, and exclusive destinations. The World Navigator will sail the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and Iceland, Greenland, and the Arctic in summer 2022; Central and South America in autumn; and will return to Antarctica for its 2022-23 winter season. In winter 2023, the World Traveller will make its first Antarctic season. Three more sister ships, the World Seeker, World Adventurer, and World Discoverer, will join the fleet by 2024.
