Tour operator Up & Fly Tours has appointed Carlos Ruiz as General Manager and Nuria Rodríguez as Product Manager.
Both have extensive experience in the tourism sector and especially in the river cruise segment, having spent the last years of their careers at Politours, a historic wholesaler that disappeared due to the COVID-19 crisis and of which Up&Fly Tours was a minority partner.
Up & Fly will soon launch a new program of river cruises for 2022, which will operate on the Danube, the Rhine and the Seine, and is finalizing a series of special charter operations for Easter, with destinations in Prague, Budapest and Sicily, from airports such as Zaragoza, Pamplona, Bilbao or Santiago de Compostela.
The company will also schedule medium-haul routes to European destinations, tours of Egypt, Turkey, Morocco or Russia and, looking ahead to next summer, long-haul routes to Canada, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
In Spain, Up & Fly Tours will launch a series of special programs, including tours of the Camino de Santiago, the Sephardic Routes, and visits to the Marina Élite Hotel (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and the Gran Hotel Europa (Dominican Republic), where Up & Fly Tours has interests. Additionally, the company is working on developing a new destination management company (DMC) project.
