The Lisbon Cruise Port (LCP), part of the Global Ports Holding network of ports, has officially resumed operations. LCP expects 45 cruise ship calls in October, following 13 calls in September. This autumn season marks its return to activity. In September, LCP welcomed 13 calls with over 15,000 passengers. To ensure a safe return to cruising, LCP has implemented the port's health and safety protocols.
October is also shaping up to be a positive month, with a forecast of 45 cruise ship calls and 45,000 passengers. The month will begin with the arrival of Regent Seven Seas Cruises' Seven Seas Splendor. The inaugural voyages of the Iona and Le Commandant Charcot will also depart from Lisbon Cruise Port, for which the LCP team has prepared the operations. With cruise calls from MSC, Costa, Norwegian, and P&O, October's cruise levels will return to 88% of the level of October 2019.

As part of the Global Ports Holding network of ports, the Port of Lisbon Cruises is committed to ensuring the start and continuity of the cruise industry. In line with these policies, the port has received the “Clean & Safe” seal from Turismo de Portugal, guaranteeing that all health measures are in place, as well as the European Tourism Covid-19 Safety Seal and the WTTC's “Safe Travels” seal.
