In the winter of 2021/2022, AIDA Cruises will deploy its ship AIDAnova to the Canary Islands, the most popular destination for guests from German-speaking countries. Onboard, guests can expect highlights such as 17 restaurants and 23 bars, a double water slide and climbing garden, the Beach Club, the Theatrium with its 360° stage, the TV studio, and the spacious Body & Soul Organic Spa.
The AIDAnova will thus take over from its sister ship, the AIDAcosma, powered by liquefied natural gas, which is still under construction. Given its current stage of completion, more time is needed to prepare the new vessel. Details regarding the launch of the AIDAcosma will be announced at a later date.
AIDAnova will offer two additional short trips from Hamburg starting on December 14 and 19, 2021, before the Christmas and New Year trip from Hamburg to Gran Canaria on December 22, 2021.
With the AIDAbella, AIDA Cruises will add another ship to its fleet, offering guests voyages to the Middle East in the winter of 2021/2022. The AIDAbella will take over the voyages previously served by the AIDAnova, beginning with the "Mallorca to Dubai" voyage from November 6, 2021. A highlight of this year's winter season in the Middle East is the World Expo in Dubai. Guests aboard the AIDAbella will enjoy an extended stay in this fascinating metropolis for this purpose. In addition to Dubai, the ship will also call at Muscat and Abu Dhabi, as well as Doha or Bahrain on select dates.
