Silversea organized a familiarization trip for travel agents from August 11th to September 6th. More than 90 travel agents from the UK and Europe had the privilege of enjoying a few days in the Greek Islands.

These mini-cruises were organized to inform travel agencies about the rapid reactivation of cruises, adapting to the constantly evolving health situation, and to showcase the implementation of a strict yet safe health protocol for all guests and crew. Furthermore, they allowed Silversea's most loyal distribution partners to experience firsthand the exceptional quality that only a leading luxury cruise line like Silversea can offer.
Currently, both crew members and guests boarding Silversea ships must have completed their vaccination schedule, undergo an antigen test before boarding, and another test midway through the cruise (paid for by the company). In addition, the butler takes passengers' temperatures daily.
Silversea continues to maintain its exceptionally high standards of service, cuisine, and passenger care. Its balcony suites, butler service, and intimate fine-dining restaurants have been highly praised by travel agents, including, of course, the large contingent from Spain.
The agents were introduced to the Silver Moon's flagship flagship, the SALT concept, a unique and innovative program that allows guests to experience a close connection with the local area at every port of call. This experience offers an immersion in local gastronomy through three locations: the culinary laboratory, the cocktail bar, and the SALT restaurant, in addition to a complimentary excursion visiting local markets and shops.
The outcome of these familiarization trips has been absolutely positive, and thanks to the valuable advocacy work of the distribution partners, Silversea will continue to maintain its leadership in the luxury cruise sector.
