Celestyal Cruises announces its strategic partnership with AtmosAir Solutions, a leading indoor air purification company that provides clean, green indoor air technology to the hospitality and travel industries. Through this partnership, Celestyal has further enhanced its already stringent health and safety protocols by upgrading its onboard HVAC air purification system, which currently uses 100% fresh outside air with no recirculation of indoor air, as well as its HEPA filtration system in onboard medical facilities. Celestyal's HVAC systems utilize AtmosAir's latest BPI technology, which improves passenger and crew well-being by suppressing microorganisms and pathogens from the air and surfaces, including viruses, bacteria, and mold, while also reducing odors and unhealthy, irritating volatile organic compounds (VOCs). BPI technology is also effective in minimizing the spread of coronavirus in the air and on surfaces.
Tests conducted by Microchem Laboratory, one of the world's leading laboratories for testing EPA and FDA-registered disinfectant products, confirmed that the presence of coronavirus was reduced by 99.92% in a specific area during 30 minutes of exposure to AtmosAir Solutions' BPI technology. AtmosAir's patented bipolar ionization (BPI) technology improves well-being, contributes to the sustainability of cruise ships, and reduces operating costs, while its proven air purification process acts as a continuous disinfectant, eliminating airborne and surface contaminants from indoor spaces.
