Atlas Ocean Voyage has announced new summer 2021 itineraries for its first newly built expedition ship, the World Navigator. With alternating departures from Athens (Piraeus), Greece, and Cairo (Alexandria), Egypt, beginning August 4, the World Navigator will be the industry’s first and only cruise ship to take travelers to Egypt and offer a distinctly different, safe, and luxurious regional travel experience. The five new itineraries, ranging from seven to 12 nights, feature UNESCO World Heritage sites in nearly all of the 14 unique ports of call and include several nights in either Cairo or Mykonos, Greece, so passengers can enjoy each destination’s vibrant nightlife. On the inaugural voyage on August 4, guests will also be invited to an all-inclusive celebratory dinner and party on the Giza Plateau overlooking the iconic pyramids, which will be illuminated at night exclusively for World Navigator passengers. Passengers on the World Navigator will enjoy Atlas' "All Inclusive" promise at all times, which includes complimentary round-trip air travel, choice of one shore excursion at each port, prepaid gratuities, gourmet onboard dining, premium beverages, and much more.

However, we created the World Navigator’s Egypt and Greek Islands voyages to offer travelers a new, unique, and superior option for exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences in true luxury adventure style.”
Due to its small size, the World Navigator will also exclusively call at small Greek islands inaccessible to larger ships. In port, World Navigator passengers can enjoy a selection of complimentary shore excursions showcasing must-see attractions, as well as optional immersive experiences. Among the captivating complimentary excursion options are Ano Mera, perhaps the most traditional of Mykonos' villages; a visit to Akrotiri, ranked among the top 10 archaeological sites in the world; and the National Museum of Alexandria and its iconic Library.
All shore excursions and land tours will be conducted in small groups, led by expert local tour guides, and aboard coaches operating at less than 50% capacity to provide ample personal space. Wireless headsets will also be used to allow guests to maintain social distancing while still enjoying the guides' commentary.
Offering one of the largest proportions of guest space in the industry, the World Navigator is newly built and features the latest hygiene and cleaning measures incorporated into its sleek, cutting-edge design.
The Atlas's extensive list of complimentary amenities also includes emergency medical evacuation insurance, premium wines and spirits, international beers and coffees, Wi-Fi, L'Occitane bath products, and regionally inspired gourmet dining. Guests in each stateroom enjoy binoculars for onboard use, in-room coffee, tea, and personalized bar service, as well as butler service in suites.
