Oceania Cruises, the cruise line focused on gastronomy and destinations, today unveiled Vista, the first of two new 1,200-passenger Allura-class ships being built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri SpA. The luxurious vessel, the line's seventh, will begin sailing in 2023, followed by a sister ship in 2025.
With a name that reflects the dawn of a new era in travel, Vista will exemplify all the hallmarks of the Oceania Cruises experience that guests have come to expect. Vista will offer the finest cuisine at sea, exceptionally personalized service with two staff members for every three passengers, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and will introduce several brand-firsts in dining and the overall passenger experience.

Vista's nine additional culinary experiences, luxurious public spaces, and spacious suites and staterooms will be unveiled starting in May 2021, with inaugural voyages going on sale in September 2021.
The Vista not only represents a vision for the future of the Oceania Cruises brand, but also the vision of the thousands of officers and crew members who played a vital role in the ship's design and helped bring it to fruition from concept to design and reality. “Our officers and crew are always bringing new ideas to the table and putting them into practice. They are the ones who made the Vista possible, and it is a tribute to them, these true visionaries of the seven seas, that we name the ship in their honor,” added Binder.
Currently under construction by Fincantieri SpA in Italy, the Vista will make its maiden voyage in early 2023. At approximately 67,000 tons, the ship will accommodate 1,200 passengers and have a crew of 800, offering an industry-leading space-to-person ratio. A sister ship, as yet unnamed, will debut in 2025.
