Royal Caribbean's Grandeur of the Seas offers itineraries from Barbados for next winter

Royal Caribbean International will set sail from Barbados for the first time this winter, offering passengers new ways to discover the Southern Caribbean aboard Grandeur of the Seas. With three different itineraries of 7 and 14 nights each, and unique destinations—including three new ports of call in Tobago, Trinidad, and St. Vincent—it will be an opportunity to experience the natural beauty and culture of the region.

Week-long cruises will visit a different destination each day or offer overnight stays on the renowned islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. Longer cruises will include an overnight stay in Aruba and visit Cartagena (Colombia), Colón (Panama), and Puerto Limón (Costa Rica), among other destinations.

“We are thrilled to expand our long-standing partnership with Barbados and introduce Bridgetown as a new port for Royal Caribbean. Sailing from the heart of the Windward Islands opens up a world of possibilities for enjoying time with family and friends in incredible destinations like Grenada, and now St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. “Barbados’ pink sand beaches and diverse adventures make it an ideal destination for our guests to further explore its charm and culture before or after their cruises.”

“After the year the industry and the region have endured, this is a bright light to look forward to for the upcoming winter season. We have long wanted to see more ports operating from Barbados, the addition of pre- and post-cruise holidays that will allow passengers to discover the very best Barbados has to offer, and, regionally, the development of new itineraries that elevate the Caribbean cruise experience,” commented Lisa Cummins, Barbados’ Minister of Tourism and International Transport. “So we are delighted to roll out the red carpet for Grandeur of the Seas. We are eager to showcase our renowned hospitality, our wide range of accommodations, our rich culture, the variety of experiences, our cuisine, our unique attractions, and, most importantly, we want to share the warmth of our people. These are all things that will make tourists want to come back for more!”.
