MSC Cruises has announced details of its 2022 summer season program, opening sales today for the Caribbean and Mediterranean and announcing that sales for Northern Europe will open in the coming days. The summer season, running from April to November 2022, offers a wide variety of itineraries to suit every type of traveler, with 19 ships to choose from. As Europe’s leading cruise line and an expert in Mediterranean-style cruising, MSC Cruises’ 2022 summer program features the most embarkation ports in the Mediterranean, with ten ships deployed in this region. Meanwhile, for those seeking relaxation in the Caribbean, MSC Cruises will offer Miami and Port Canaveral as embarkation ports.

WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN: MSC Cruises offers itineraries to visit Italy, France, Spain, and Malta. With multiple embarkation ports, easily accessible from around the world, including Barcelona with four ships in summer 2022, these itineraries offer passengers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unique spirit of the Mediterranean, discover some of the world's most famous cultural sites, enjoy shopping and boutiques, and savor the finest cuisines. Each ship in the Western Mediterranean features the MSC Yacht Club, the Company's unique "yacht within a ship" concept for those seeking exclusivity and privacy.
Furthermore, continuing its commitment to the City of Turia for more than 15 years, MSC Cruises is the only cruise line that will have embarkation in Valencia throughout the summer season.
- MSC Seaside will offer departures from Palma de Mallorca and Valencia visiting Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Palermo and Cagliari.
- MSC Splendida will depart from Barcelona, making stops in Ibiza, Naples, Livorno, Genoa and Marseille.
- MSC Seaview will depart from Barcelona to offer a very popular MSC Cruises itinerary to Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina and Valletta.
- MSC Fantasia will offer itineraries departing from Barcelona with stops in Tunis, Palermo, Civitavecchia, Genoa and Marseille.
- MSC Meraviglia will depart Barcelona on Saturdays, sailing to Cannes, Genoa, La Spezia, Civitavecchia and Palma de Mallorca.
EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN: MSC Cruises' Summer 2022 program showcases the very best this part of the world has to offer as you sail the Adriatic and Aegean Seas. Featuring a selection of some of the finest itineraries in the region, including Italy, the Greek Islands, Croatia, and Albania, Eastern Mediterranean cruises offer the perfect blend of historical attractions, stunning beaches, and vibrant coastlines.
- MSC Musica will offer cruises from Venice on Saturdays to Bari, Santorini, Chania, Corfu and Dubrovnik;
- MSC Armonia will sail on Sundays from Venice to Brindisi, Mykonos, Piraeus, Corfu and Kotor;
- MSC Lirica will sail from Venice with cruises to Split, Santorini and Mykonos, Dubrovnik and Ancona;
- MSC Sinfonia will set sail on Saturdays from Genoa, with stops in Kotor, the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini and the ports of Sarande and Bari;
- MSC Opera will be based in Trieste and will sail on Saturdays to Bari, Corfu, Kotor, Dubrovnik and Split;
Sales are now open for MSC Musica, MSC Lirica and MSC Sinfonia, while sales for MSC Armonia and MSC Opera will open soon.
CARIBBEAN: Sailing from Miami, known as the “cruise capital of the world” and Port Canaveral, the third largest cruise port in the world, the two MSC Cruises ships will stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the Company’s private island in The Bahamas – a jewel that is sure to be the highlight of the cruise.
- MSC Seashore, the Company's new flagship, will be based in Miami and will offer two alternative itineraries to the Eastern or Western Caribbean, offered every two weeks, always stopping at Ocean Cay;
- MSC Divina will be based in Port Canaveral, sailing to Ocean Cay and Nassau on 2, 3, or 4-night cruises, and to Ocean Cay and Mexico on 7-night cruises. MSC Divina will also offer a spectacular 12-night cruise to kick off the season, embarking in Miami and calling at Jamaica, Aruba, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Ocean Cay, before disembarking in Port Canaveral.
FALL 2022: MSC Cruises' fall offerings will be special and unique, featuring a great selection of itineraries. These cruises will be available in the coming months.
- MSC Splendida will offer 9-night Mediterranean cruises with stops in Genoa, Malaga, Casablanca, Lisbon, Barcelona, and Marseille. Embarkation will be available in Barcelona and Malaga.
- MSC Poesia will offer 11-night itineraries from Genoa to the Canary Islands, Madeira and Casablanca.
- MSC Orchestra also has an 11-night itinerary planned from Genoa to Greece and Turkey, with MSC Cruises' return to Istanbul featuring a longer stopover than usual.
- MSC Lirica will offer four 11-night cruises from Genoa, Rome, Limassol (Cyprus) and an overnight stay in Haifa (Israel), giving the opportunity to visit the Holy Land in two days: Bethlehem, Nazareth and Jerusalem, before returning to Crete and Olympia (Greece).
NORTHERN EUROPE: A cruise through Northern Europe is always magical and a way to discover some of the world's most spectacular coastlines and landscapes from the comfort of a ship, all without unpacking. These cruises will be available to book very soon.
- MSC Grandiosa will spend its first season in Northern Europe with two alternative itineraries each week from Kiel on Saturdays and Copenhagen on Sundays (7 nights through the Baltic Capitals and 7 nights through the Fjords);
- MSC Poesia, based in Warnemünde, will offer cruises of 7 to 21 nights, through the Baltic Capitals, Fjords and Greenland;
- MSC Orchestra will operate 10- to 14-night itineraries from Hamburg to Iceland, Ireland, the North Cape and Spitzbergen;
- MSC Preziosa will offer two alternative itineraries from Kiel on Sundays to the Baltic Capitals and the Fjords;
- MSC Magnifica will be based in Southampton and will offer cruises of 2 to 14 nights to a wide range of destinations including the Baltic Capitals and Fjords, as well as the Mediterranean Sea and the Canary Islands.
ASIA: In summer 2022, MSC Cruises will have two ships in this region for the first time – MSC Virtuosa, one of the company's newest ships, will join its sister ship, MSC Bellissima. Detailed itineraries for these ships will be announced later.
