Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its new worldwide itineraries for summer 2023. With the launch of these new itineraries, cruise lovers have more options to enjoy their vacations in different parts of the world. From Caribbean island hopping to glacier viewing in Alaska, as well as exploring fascinating corners of Europe, these new plans offer travelers unique experiences so they can enjoy what they've been longing for all year: the chance to recharge and discover amazing destinations.
The new itineraries include exciting new destinations such as Norwegian Cruise Line's first-ever visit to beautiful Nessebar, Bulgaria, on extraordinary voyages aboard the Norwegian Jade, sailing the Mediterranean and the Black Sea; as well as the debut of the Norwegian Bliss at the Royal Naval Dockyard during its seven-day round-trip voyage to Bermuda from New York. Also noteworthy is the Norwegian Jade's first-ever visits to Bodrum, Turkey, and Paros, Greece, during its seven-day round-trip voyage from Athens (Piraeus). This is just a taste of what's new from the cruise line, offering all passengers, as always, the ultimate in freedom.
Along these same lines, and to inspire passengers and remind them of the unforgettable experiences available on the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, the cruise line recently announced the premiere of its new documentary series, “Embark – The Series,” which invites travelers to enjoy a preview of the grand return to the seas from the comfort of their homes. The docuseries kicked off with a special performance at London’s historic West End Garrick Theatre, where the cast of “The Choir of Man” reunited for the first time in many months.

These are the itineraries for 2023:
MEDITERRANEAN
- The Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Gem, and Norwegian Jade will sail various Mediterranean itineraries from May to October. For the first time, Norwegian Cruise Line will visit the ancient city of Nessebar.
- On its voyage, the Norwegian Jade will make its debut in Bodrum, Turkey and Paros, Greece, while embarking on a selection of round-trip Greek island tours from Athens (Piraeus), Greece.
- Norwegian Breakaway will offer intensive port itineraries during its cruises to the Greek islands from Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy, visiting Santorini, Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy; Cannes, France, and many other stops.
NORTHERN EUROPE: Sailing on a series of Northern European voyages, Norwegian Getaway's Baltic round-trip cruises from Copenhagen, Denmark, include an overnight stay in the captivating cultural gem of St. Petersburg, Russia. The itinerary also features stops in Warnemünde, Germany; Tallinn, Estonia; Stockholm, Switzerland; and Helsinki, Finland, with extended port hours.
BERMUDA: The Norwegian Bliss will call at Norfolk, Virginia (USA) and the historic Colonial Williamsburg area. The ship will also make its debut at the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda when it begins a series of round-trip cruises from New York. The itineraries include two overnight stays at the Royal Naval Dockyard. After exploring Bermuda's most spectacular side, travelers can return to the ship and continue the onboard adventure by taking a few laps around the Speedway, Norwegian's racetrack at sea, or relax with a visit to the Mandara Spa's thermal suite to experience the Salt Room, a spectacular grotto surrounded by layers of salt crystals that purify the body.
ALASKA: Alaska will welcome four Norwegian Cruise Line ships: the Norwegian Jewel, the Norwegian Sun, and two of the brand's newest Breakaway Plus class ships: the Norwegian Encore and the Norwegian Joy. The ships will sail a variety of itineraries from Seattle; Vancouver, Canada; and Seward, Alaska. Select voyages for the Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Jewel, and Norwegian Sun will call at Norwegian Cruise Line Holding's new pier at Icy Strait Point, where guests can disembark, immerse themselves in nature, and support local businesses and the community.
BAHAMAS: The Norwegian Sky will sail round-trip cruises from Miami, with stops in Freeport, Nassau, and Great Stirrup Cay, the cruise line's private island resort in the Bahamas. At this haven, passengers can reserve one of the luxurious private villas in Silver Cove, an exclusive beachfront area on Great Stirrup Cay, recharge with a massage at the island's Mandara Spa, or simply relax on the beach.
THE CARIBBEAN: On round-trip cruises from Miami, the Norwegian Escape and Norwegian Sky will offer a combination of Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages. The diverse itineraries include stops in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Road Town (Tortola), British Virgin Islands; Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas; George Town, Cayman Islands; Roatán Island, Honduras; Cozumel, Mexico; Harvest Caye, the cruise line's resort destination in Belize; and much more.
CANADA AND NEW ENGLAND: The Norwegian Escape will be homeported in New York City and will offer round-trip cruises to Canada and New England, calling at Newport, Rhode Island; Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine; and Saint John and Halifax, Canada. The Norwegian Pearl will sail to and from Boston and Quebec City, Canada, with stops in Bar Harbor, Maine; Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, and Saguenay, Canada.
