Ashford, who leads Carnival Corporation's premium cruise company, has been with the company for almost five and a half years and spearheaded a rejuvenation of the brand through an emphasis on entertainment, live music, and culinary experiences.
Holland America Line has a fleet of 14 premium ships and welcomes more than 900,000 passengers each year. Ashford oversaw sales and marketing, revenue management, itinerary planning and implementation, public relations, hotel operations, and strategy. He recently guided the company through an unprecedented pause in global cruise operations that extended through the planned 2020 sailing seasons in Alaska, Europe, and Canada/New England.
