Marella Cruises announces a gradual return to service, and updated winter 2020 and 2021 itineraries

Marella Cruises announces a gradual return to service, and updated winter 2020 and 2021 itineraries

Britain's largest shipping company says it will begin its 2020 summer schedule in July, with three of its five ships, as "it should be safe to set sail."

  • Marella Explorer will sail from Corfu, Greece
  • Marella Explorer 2 will sail from the UK this summer, and from Dubrovnik in summer 2021, replacing the voyages of the Marella Celebration.
  • Marella Discovery will sail from Palma de Mallorca, as originally planned, and will sail in the Caribbean in February 2021. The December 2020 and January 2021 cruises are canceled.

The Marella Dream will not operate until summer 2021, and the Marella Discovery 2 will resume sailing in winter 2020 from Cyprus. Trips to Asia have therefore been cancelled.
