Royal Caribbean International invites travelers of all ages to discover Europe this summer of 2021 like never before, offering 70% new itineraries across seven ships in its fleet. Cultural adventures aboard its innovative ships will take passengers to fairytale castles and captivating cathedrals in Denmark, lavender fields in France, and breathtaking views in the Norwegian fjords. Bookings for all 2021 European itineraries are now open.
The Anthem of the Seas will return to Southampton, England, for the second consecutive year, embarking on a summer tour of Europe where no Quantum-Class ship has ever sailed before. The Anthem of the Seaswill offer a variety of 7-night Norwegian Fjords itineraries and 14-night Mediterranean city cruises, including new calls in Denmark, France, and Norway. The Harmony of the Seas will return to Europe for the first time since its inaugural season in 2016, with 7-night Western Mediterranean itineraries.
New routes from Southampton
- The Anthem of the Seas will sail to Southampton on 7- to 14-night itineraries to Norway, including a new stop in Stavanger, where passengers can climb 600 meters high at Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) to enjoy the incredible views, or embark on a fjord safari to get up close to the stunning landscapes.
- Other new ports of call for the Quantum-class ship will be: Copenhagen, Denmark – home to the Prince's Palace and National Museum galleries showcasing centuries-old collections of antiquities and art – Aarhus, Denmark's second-largest city and one of France's most iconic destinations, Bordeaux.
- Some departures will also include stopovers until early evening in Paris, as well as overnight stays in Rotterdam, Netherlands and Lisbon, Portugal.
Explore Europe from Barcelona
- The Oasis Class returns with Harmony of the Seas sailing to the Western Mediterranean on 7-night cruises with late-evening stops in Florence/Pisa and Rome, Italy. For those wishing to begin and end their voyage in Italy, round-trip sailings from Rome are also available.
- The Vision of the Seas will continue to offer stunning 12-night Mediterranean itineraries. The ship will visit idyllic destinations, including the Greek islands, Kotor, Montenegro; Nice, France; Rome and Florence/Pisa; an overnight stay in Venice; and a late-afternoon stop in Split, Croatia.
- The Jewel of the Seas will close its summer in Barcelona, where it will transport tourists to the Iberian Peninsula and the Greek Islands, including visits to Cannes, France; and Athens and Santorini, Greece.
Italian Adventures
- The Rhapsody of the Seas will spend another summer in Venice offering 7-night itineraries alternating Greece, Croatia and the Greek islands with late-evening stops in Kotor and Santorini.
- The Odyssey of the Seas, scheduled to debut in November 2020, will be the first of Royal Caribbean's Quantum Ultra-class ships to visit the spectacular coasts of Turkey and Greece on numerous itineraries. Bookings will be available the week of December 9, 2019.
Baltic and British Explorations
- The Jewel of the Seas will make some voyages from Amsterdam, Netherlands, and visiting the British Isles and the Baltic countries will include overnight stays in Edinburgh (S. Queensferry), Scotland and St. Petersburg, Russia; as well as a stopover until early evening in Liverpool, England.
- This season will be the first time a Radiance Class ship visits Liverpool and Bordeaux.
- The Adventure of the Seaswill depart from Stockholm and Copenhagen, offering 7- to 11-night cruises that include overnight stays in St. Petersburg and visits to Helsinki, Finland; Tallinn, Estonia; and Visby, Sweden. Reservations will be available the week of December 9, 2019.
