Madrid, June 28, 2018 - Pullmantur Cruises - the only shipping company on the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the way of traveling on a cruise - is committed this season to including electric bicycle excursions in its routes through the Adriatic and Aegean Seas: Venetian Rondo and Greek Islands, respectively.
In this way, guests on the Horizon ship have a new and original way to discover the wonders of these routes in a healthy and ecological way, participating in a group activity with family and friends.
Accompanied by an instructor-guide and equipped with protective helmets, water, and energy bars, Horizon passengers can discover the spectacular landscapes and cities along both routes, specially designed for maximum enjoyment on two wheels. Furthermore, they benefit from small group sizes, offering a personalized excursion tailored to each participant to create the perfect experience.

Excursions for everyone
Depending on the itinerary, guests of the Horizon can cycle to the Acropolis of Athens with its ancient columns and temples; explore the historic centers of Corfu, Dubrovnik, and Padua, with its university; and enjoy the incredible views from the Rumija mountains in Bar. They can also visit the famous island of Mykonos, admire the panoramic views of Volos Bay, and experience the natural beauty of Chania.
One feature that adds extra appeal to this activity is that in every port there is a stop at one of the fantastic beaches that these destinations offer, so that a single excursion combines culture, scenery, adventure and relaxation.
Since these are electric bikes, no minimum fitness level is required: the only requirement is knowing how to ride a bike. The routes are designed as pleasant rides suitable for everyone , and four power levels allow each passenger to choose the assistance provided by the motor.
Pullmantur Cruises began incorporating electric bike excursions into its North Sea itineraries last summer season. Since then, and due to the positive reception of this option, it has expanded this offering to include its Caribbean and Canary Islands routes.
Venetian Rondo
