Ponant orders two new cruise ships

Ponant has announced that it has ordered two new expedition vessels from the VARD shipyards, bringing the company's fleet to 12 ships in 2021.

They will be ships similar to the four Explorer-class vessels currently under construction at VARD, with a capacity of 180 passengers each, and will be named Le Bellot and Le Surville. Their delivery is scheduled for the first and second quarters of 2020, respectively.
