TUI Cruises is set to confirm the construction order for the Mein Schiff 7 at Meyer Turku, with delivery scheduled for 2023.
It would be a sister ship to the new Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2, meaning it will have a capacity for 2,900 passengers and a displacement of 110,000 tons. These ships are being built in Meyer Turku at a cost of $625 million each, with delivery scheduled for 2018 and 2019 respectively.
According to a statement from the shipyard, the construction agreement is in place, but it depends on financial approval, which is currently being worked on.
