Madrid, February 1, 2018. The Director General of Passenger Services, Ramón Azuara, and the Director General of Costa Cruises in Spain and Portugal, Raffaele D'Ambrosio, have signed the renewal and improvement of the agreement between both companies, which will allow passengers to book their approach to the ship by train at very advantageous prices.
The agreement allows Barcelona and Tarragona, Costa cruise departure ports, to be connected by train with major Spanish cities, thus facilitating the transfer to the ship and ensuring an excellent travel experience for the customer from the very beginning.
In this way, cities like Alicante, Bilbao, Madrid, Malaga, Seville and Valencia and their surroundings will enjoy maximum comfort, starting their cruise from home.
The collaboration between Renfe and Costa Cruises, which has been taking place since 2011, is embodied in the Train + Cruise package that facilitates the transfer of passengers to and from the port of embarkation of their cruise.
Raffaele D'Ambrosio, Managing Director of Costa Cruises in Spain and Portugal, stated: “It is a pleasure to renew the agreement with Renfe.
