According to data provided by the Port Authorities, the strike is being carried out, in the first work shift, in accordance with the terms established in the call, that is, work is being stopped in odd hours and carried out in even hours, with no noteworthy incidents having been recorded.
At the same time, the minimum services mandated by the Resolution of the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Housing are being maintained, and no performance issues have been observed during even-numbered hours. These minimum services are operating normally, particularly passenger services to the islands, Ceuta and Melilla, and inter-island services.
Shipping companies and terminal operators have reduced operations to a minimum for today (for example, in Barcelona and Algeciras, at the APMT terminal, no operations are scheduled). However, the TTI terminal in Algeciras has requested seven shifts to carry out its work according to the strike call (alternating shifts).
The strikes are being observed almost completely - during odd hours - and of the 28 Port Authorities, the strike has been 100%, with the exception of the port of Cartagena where it has not been supported.
Despite no significant incidents occurring, beyond the workers' gatherings, minimum services were not provided on a ship serving the Tangier route in the port of Motril, and dockworkers prevented a ship from operating in the port of Ferrol.
