The Flying Clipper will be delivered in the first quarter of 2018. The delivery of Star Clippers' new ship, scheduled for August 2017, has been postponed.
A spokesman for Brodosplit, the shipyard in Croatia that is building the 300-passenger sailing ship, confirmed the new delivery date.
“Brodosplit has been recognized as one of the few shipyards capable of building this vessel, from the design phase through construction and outfitting with complex equipment and luxurious interiors. The estimated delivery time is the first quarter of 2018,” the spokesperson said.
