The shipping company has introduced free supervision programs adapted to each age, from 6 months to 17 years.
- “Guppies”: This program, designed especially for babies from 6 months to two years old, offers up to two hours of fun per day for them, always with parental supervision, on board all of NCL's ships. It includes nursery rhymes, crafts, and various toys. In addition, the Norwegian Escape is the first ship in the NCL fleet to offer a dedicated nursery for children from 6 months to 2 years old at a small fee.
- Splash Academy: A fun and play space designed for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Activities vary depending on the age group and include creative tasks, sports, games, team challenges, crafts, and surprise activities such as circus school, pizza workshops, and pirate, cowboy, and spy-themed parties. The age groups are divided into age ranges to give each child the personalized attention they deserve: Turtles (3-5 years); Seals (6-9 years); and Dolphins (10-12 years).
- Entourage: Teenagers can also enjoy themselves on board with the Entourage program (ages 13-17). They have an exclusive hangout area: a modern lounge during the day and a lively disco in the evening. There are also countless activities, including playing Wii™, movies, parties, sports, drama workshops, a circus school, and pool parties.
The Norwegian Epic boasts three water slides, including the 61-meter-long Epic Plunge. Meanwhile, the Norwegian Escape, the largest ship in the fleet, features a water park with four multi-story slides, including the Free Fall, the fastest at sea, as well as two pools and four hot tubs. Children can also enjoy themed pool parties and games coordinated by the crew, giving parents peace of mind.
