Silversea Cruises has announced its 2018 itinerary details. The nine ships in Silversea's classic and expedition fleet will visit a total of 130 countries, providing guests with unique experiences while enjoying the comfort and elegance of their newly refurbished ships.

“Our commitment to offering smaller, more intimate ships clearly reflects our customers’ desire for understated elegance and refinement,” states Roberto Martinoli, CEO of Silversea Cruises. “However, as we announced in our new itineraries, what we are expanding is the range of destinations, further enriching our customers’ experiences with new cultural touchstones, giving them more opportunities for discovery, guaranteeing a larger circle of friends, and creating more unforgettable memories—all of which can only be a positive thing.”
Among the key highlights of the classic fleet's cruise destinations for 2018 are the ten UNESCO World Heritage sites to which Silversea Cruises guests will have access.
These are some specific examples of the highlights of Silversea's 2018 itineraries:
The ultimate Mediterranean experience: a 44-day season in the heart of the Mediterranean aboard Silversea's new flagship, the Silver Muse. This Grand Voyage will call at 39 ports in 9 different countries, from the Greek Islands to the Balearic Islands, from the French Riviera to Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast.
New Asian experience: Five voyages to the Philippines on three different ships (Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper, and Silver Muse). A key destination to highlight is Palawan Island, voted the “World’s Best Island” for the second consecutive year.
Africa and the Indian Ocean: Several trips will be made to the heart of the Indian Ocean, explorations to the beautiful Vanilla Islands and with multiple visits to the Maldives, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mayotte and Reunion.
An explorer by nature: Silver Explorer sails across the Pacific Ocean to Kiribati, the Cook Islands, and French Polynesia, with new ports along the way. It will also take its guests to the Northwest Coast of America, to Costa Rica, and to the southernmost tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula.
