Eleven months before the first customers travel aboard MSC Meraviglia, MSC Cruises has revealed more details of its first state-of-the-art smart ship.
Scheduled to embark on its maiden voyage on June 4, 2017, the MSC Meraviglia will feature state-of-the-art entertainment, along with a wide selection of dining options and numerous luxurious wellness amenities . The ship will sail the Western Mediterranean on its inaugural cruise, departing from Barcelona.
The star of the onboard entertainment is none other than the leader in artistic shows, Cirque du Soleil, thanks to the partnership of Cirque du Soleil at Sea with MSC Cruises.
Among other features, Aqua Park will include four water slides and a Himalayan Bridge, where the more adventurous can cross the ship on a rope 60 meters above the water. In addition, the MSC Meraviglia offers guests three nighttime swimming pools.
The MSC Yacht Club on MSC Meraviglia features luxury accommodation, spanning three decks with 78 suites, 15 inside cabins and two apartments.
In terms of dining, MSC Meraviglia offers its guests 12 venues serving seasonal dishes. One of these is the buffet, open 20 hours a day, featuring a menu of Mediterranean and international specialties. Other dining options include the award-winning Kaito Sushi Bar, the new Kaito Teppanyaki restaurant, and an steakhouse with meats sourced from around the world.
