The cruise line will offer a 7-night stay aboard the Costa Diadema on a Western Mediterranean cruise this autumn. The company hopes this will encourage golf enthusiasts to participate in this charitable initiative.
Costa Cruises has announced that it will collaborate with the "For a Smile in Africa" foundation in the "Your best shot, their best smile" initiative, three golf tournaments organized with a charitable purpose: to cooperate in the construction of schools in Senegal.
The "Your Best Shot, Their Best Smile" project kicked off on May 14th at the Cerdanya Golf Club. The tournament saw excellent participation, and the organizers are confident that this will be repeated at the next two events, thus confirming the initiative's success.
The foundation, together with its partners, hopes that the 14th "For a Smile in Africa" Trophy will raise money to contribute to the construction of a secondary school in Soussane, Senegal. This project, carried out in collaboration with the country's Ministry of Education, began in 2014 and is awaiting further funding to be completed.
