The Fincantieri shipyards have delivered Carnival Cruise Line's new ship, the Carnival Vista, which will be the company's largest and most modern vessel.

The ship, which can accommodate 3,954 passengers, will return to Trieste, from where it will depart on its maiden voyage on May 1, beginning a summer program in Europe that will continue until October 2016. After a 13-day transatlantic crossing, Carnival Vista will make voyages from New York in November, and from Miami to the Caribbean a month later.
Carnival Vista offers a number of innovative experiences, including the SkyRide, a bicycle suspended on a track that crosses the ship; the first IMAX theater at sea; and the RedFrog Pub & Brewery, which offers three different types of beer brewed on board. The ship also features WaterWorks, a water park with a 138-meter water slide.
“Carnival Vista is a wonderful addition to our fleet, and we can’t wait for our guests to begin experiencing everything this ship has to offer,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Carnival Vista will give our guests the opportunity to create great vacation memories while also providing our travel agents with a new vacation option to offer their clients.”.
