The Logitravel Group will increase its revenue in 2015 with a growth of 11%

The Logitravel Group, a tourism company specializing in holiday travel and owner of the online travel agency Logitravel.com, increased its revenue in 2015 by 11% compared to the previous year. The company thus continues the growth trend it has maintained since its founding in 2004.

According to Tomeu Bennasar, CEO of Logitravel.com, 'We are satisfied with the revenue achieved in 2015. We have managed to continue growing despite dedicating all our efforts to investing in technology and laying a solid foundation for the coming years.'

The Logitravel Group's growth is based on several pillars, one of which is passenger growth. In 2015, a total of 2.8 million passengers booked their holidays with Logitravel, representing an 11% increase.

Cruises, one of the company's most established lines, has achieved 8% passenger growth. Of particular note is the volume of repeat passengers, meaning those who book more than one cruise per year with Logitravel. They represent 3% of all cruise passengers in 2015.

The average booking value is also growing, practically across all business lines, increasing by 8% overall. The trend of booking holidays in advance has become firmly established, which is reflected in the final price of trips. The sector has returned to reasonable average prices after the difficult years of the economic crisis.

Thanks to the strength of all of Logitravel's business lines, the company grows steadily and is able to face the future with a balanced outlook.

The online travel agency has focused throughout 2015 on developing mobility and Big Data projects aimed at improving its services and getting closer to its customers. Personalizing web content and being available at all times via mobile devices is the agency's focus and where they see the future of the tourism sector. According to Tomeu Bennasar: "Technology is constantly evolving and offering us new ways to understand our customers and select the information we show them, as well as new platforms and points of contact. Personalizing the website based on the traveler's interests and departure airport are two features we've already implemented at Logitravel, but we're working on other improvements that will be launched throughout 2016."
