The Azamara Journey vessel was in dry dock in the Bahamas, as part of the Azamara Club Cruises fleet improvement plan “Reimagine”, which includes transformations of its two vessels (Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest), from bow to stern.
Azamara Journey will feature a number of upgrades to its facilities. It will have a high-performance Wi-Fi system, offering faster internet connections throughout the ship. In addition, it will include interactive televisions in all cabins and an information center where guests can plan their next trip and access information about Azamara's worldwide voyages.
Additionally, interactive displays will be incorporated in the living rooms, so that guests can send digital postcards to their family and friends or doodle on the Scribble app.
The Azamara Journey will set sail for port today, January 27, and the Azamara Quest will enter dry dock in Singapore in April 2016.
