Riverboat operator Scenic has announced its new large-tonnage vessel, with space for 228 passengers and capable of sailing on the ocean. It will be called the Scenic Eclipse and is scheduled to begin service in 2018.
The Australian company remains committed to elevating the concept of ocean cruising to a "new level in terms of technology, size and luxury".
The ship will be built in Croatia after three years of planning and organization to ensure everything is perfect. It will include two small helicopters on board and a mini-submarine with a capacity for seven passengers.
