Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas is ready to sail from Miami

The Empress of the Seas will sail short cruises from Miami when it returns to its parent company, Royal Caribbean, after spending eight years under the ownership of its sister company, Pullmantur.
The 2,020-passenger ship will sail three- to five-night itineraries, beginning in April 2016, including some five-night itineraries with an overnight stay in Cozumel.
Royal Caribbean previously announced the ship's return to its fleet in October. Extensive renovations have also been mentioned. While details have not been released, it has been reported that the ship will feature a rock-climbing wall, new pools, a solarium, and the Chops Grille restaurant. The Empress of the Seas will also offer significantly faster Wi-Fi service.
