MSC Cruises celebrates the second edition of All Stars of the Sea

The shipping company has presented awards to the best international travel agents

MSC Cruises has gathered aboard MSC Fantasiathe world's leading travel agents to thank them for their support and celebrate the All Stars of the Sea awards ceremony.

The event, which began last Saturday, November 7, and was attended by more than 1,800 travel agents from around the world, as well as media representatives from various countries, concluded today, November 12, with the arrival of the participants in Barcelona. All Stars of the Sea has thus solidified its position as one of the most important events on the MSC Cruises.

This second edition of the awards ceremony took place during a five-day cruise between Barcelona, ​​Genoa, and Marseille, and was attended by the company's top representatives, including Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman of MSC Cruises; Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises; and Emiliano González, Managing Director of MSC Cruises for Spain. Around 200 company executives from around the world also participated in the event.

The winners from the Spanish market were six travel agencies, one per category: Viajes El Corte Inglés in the “Best FIT Producer” category; Halcón took the “Best Group Producer” award; B The Travel Brand won the “Best Network” award; Logitravel was awarded “Best Online Agent”; the “Best Initiative” award went to Rainbow Tours and, finally, Matx Creuers won the “Career Achievement” award.

“Many of our customers prefer to book their cruise holidays through a trusted travel agency,” said Gianni Onorato ahead of the event. “Therefore, it is essential that the travel agent community is well-versed in our product and its distinctive features. All Stars of the Sea is a great opportunity for us to share our strategy and listen to our partners so that we can continuously improve how we do business together.”

The program for this exclusive gathering included a series of MSC Academies – meetings and workshops to discuss market opportunities and set goals. During these five days, participants also enjoyed exquisite gala dinners and a wide range of entertainment, from live music performances to signature shows. All of this took place in the 1,600-seat theater on MSC Fantasia, l'Avanguardia; each seat representing a distinctive element of the MSC Cruises product.
