Alicante and Malta are planned as alternative stops.
MSC Cruises has announced today that all planned stops in Tunisia for the upcoming 2015/16 winter season have been cancelled.
In accordance with this suspension of calls in the Tunisian capital, the winter schedule for MSC Preziosa will be modified from November 15, 2015, to April 23, 2016. Instead of calling at Tunis, the ship will call at Valletta, Malta.
Additionally, this decision will affect the itineraries scheduled with MSC Magnifica and MSC Poesia during the MSC Grand Voyages cruises from Venice to Santos, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, respectively, in November and December 2015. Both ships will spend the day in Alicante, Spain, instead of La Goulette, Tunis.
This suspension of stopovers in Tunisia during the 2015/2016 winter season is related to the recent declaration of a state of emergency issued by the Tunisian authorities.
