The ship arrives at 9:00 a.m. on April 23 at the Levante South dock with around 1,200 passengers, including crew and tourists.
The Braemar tourist cruise ship of the Fred Olsen Cruises company, with a length of 195 meters, will make a stop tomorrow at the Levante south dock of the Port of Huelva coming from Harwich (United Kingdom) after three days of sailing through the Atlantic.
This vessel will arrive in Huelva with nearly 1,200 passengers, 380 crew members, and 800 tourists. After docking in Huelva, the Braemar will depart at 5:30 p.m. bound for Málaga.
Upon arrival, passengers will be welcomed by a group of drummers and will also have the opportunity to sample wines from the Condado de Huelva Designation of Origin. The Huelva City Council and the Tourism Board will also provide tourists with brochures containing information about the city and the province.
Some of the passengers have booked several excursions to explore the city and province's tourist attractions. These include a panoramic city tour, as well as visits to sites related to British heritage and the tomb of British officer William Martin, known as the man who never existed and who changed the course of World War II.
Likewise, other excursions will consist of visiting Columbian sites such as the La Rábida monastery and the Caravel Wharf with the recreation of the ships that set sail for the Discovery of America.
There is also an arranged excursion to the Doñana National Park with lunch in this natural space, as well as a visit to Niebla Castle and a cheese factory in Bonares with tasting, another excursion to Minas de Riotinto with a visit to the Mining Museum and the mining train, as well as another trip to El Rocío, the place where one of the most emblematic pilgrimages in Spain is celebrated next to the Doñana Park, as well as a visit to a winery in Bollullos Par del Condado and travel by train to some vineyards and tasting of wines.
The Port of Huelva has promoted the creation of a large working group within a Cruise Observatory called Huelva Cruise Network, together with representatives from various business organizations, tourism companies, transport and commerce, Huelva City Council, Tourism Board, Chamber of Commerce and Huelva Federation of Businessmen, shipping agents, shipping companies, guides, agents of the State Security Forces, Maritime Captaincy, Port Authority of Huelva and other institutions, among others, in order to create the Huelva brand and promote this destination as a cruise stop.
