The new Carnival Vista, which will join the Carnival fleet in 2016, is the ship chosen by the company to resume cruises in Europe. After three years of inactivity in this region, Carnival will once again offer Mediterranean cruises starting May 1, 2016.
The Carnival Vista, which will become the cruise line's new flagship, will offer 9-night cruises from Barcelona to Athens and vice versa, with two different itineraries:
From Barcelona to Athens with departures on May 14, June 11, July 9, September 3 and October 1, visiting: Barcelona, Marseille, Livorno, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples, Heraklion and Rhodes, with an overnight stay in Athens.
From Athens to Barcelona with departures on May 24, June 21, July 19, September 13, and October 11, visiting: Athens, Izmir, Rhodes, Valletta, Messina, Naples, Civitavecchia, Livorno, and Marseille. Additionally, the Carnival Vista will offer 7-night cruises departing from and returning to Barcelona, visiting: Palermo, Naples, Civitavecchia, Livorno, Marseille, and Palma de Mallorca.
