The world of “Frozen” is coming to Disney Cruise Line this summer

Beginning in summer 2015, Disney Cruise Line guests   will be immersed in the world of the animated classic  “Frozen” with new experiences inspired by the film,  including a radiant deck celebration, new musical productions, character meet-and-greets, in-port adventures, and more. A Frozen Day of Fun, Including a New Deck Party:
Debuting this summer on select itineraries aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder  on Europe  and Alaska Cruises, Disney Cruise Line  guests   will be transported to the world of “Frozen” as the ships transform into a winter wonderland and a day of frozen fun culminates in a lavish celebration with characters from the Kingdom of Arendelle. On a special morning,  guests will awaken to find a frozen spell  covering the entire main atrium of the ship, with  shimmering icicles adorning the grand staircase , creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Queen Elsa’s majestic ice palace. Frozen adventures and all-day family fun include character meet-and-greets and activities inspired by the movie: • Memorable moments with the movie's characters, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf • “Anna's Chase for the Chocolate”  is a fun  treasure hunt  for those who share Anna's adventurous spirit, with a special surprise at the end. • “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”  is an activity where little ones use Elsa's magical powers to create snow and ice. • “The Maypole Swirl and Twirl” gives families the chance to learn this  traditional Scandinavian dance  that spins and braids giant ribbons. • Frozen-themed dinner features a menu inspired by Nordic cuisine with special dishes inspired by the movie. The nighttime fun begins with  “Freezing the Night Away with Anna, Elsa and Friends,” an interactive party  starring the famous monarch sisters of Arendelle and their Nordic friends. As the celebration begins, guests will find the frozen spell has reached the ship's upper decks, blanketing them in giant snowflakes, icicles, and snow-covered rocks. The celebration kicks off with a vibrant musical number, inspired by the film's opening. This number marks the arrival of Kristoff, juggling his ice picks, and Princess Anna. Anna and Kristoff's beloved friends Sven, the trolls, and Olaf make virtual visits during the party. Sven invites guests to participate in interactive games, and Olaf invites everyone to sing along to his favorite song, "In Summer." A blast of freezing wind signals the arrival of  Queen Elsa, who invites guests to sing "Let It Go"  as she conjures a winter wonderland to cool things down for Olaf. Elsa unleashes her magic, sending shivers down the spines of all the guests as the powerful, award-winning song resonates throughout the ship. The evening concludes with a family dance floor on the ship’s upper decks, followed by adult entertainment in the nightclubs, including musical performances and specialty cocktails. New Production in “Disney Dreams” This summer , the characters from “Frozen” make their stage debut at the Walt Disney Theatre aboard the Disney Magic.  Anna, Elsa, and Olaf join the cast of beloved Disney characters in Disney Cruise Line’s original musical production, “Disney Dreams… An Enchanted Classic.” The musical tells the story of a young girl who learns a lesson about the power of dreaming with the help of Disney characters. All-new scenes featuring the characters from “Frozen” include  performances of three songs from the film: “Let It Go,” “For the First Time in Forever,” and “In Summer.”  The new segment of the show is a heartwarming and charming tribute to the film “Frozen,” maintaining a warm and playful tone with an uplifting message. Majestic special effects add to the magic of the show, with a magical snowfall covering the entire theater and a dramatic transformation that turns the little girl's room into a shimmering winter palace. Magical Moments with the Characters:
Olaf will be giving warm hugs when he joins Anna and Elsa during their visit to Disney Cruise Line ships, beginning this summer. Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with their favorite friends from “Frozen” on the Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, Disney Wonder, and Disney Magic. Adventures in Norway:
Disney Cruise Line guests  embarking on the  Disney Magic this summer in Norway , the land that inspired the kingdom of Arendelle in “Frozen,” will have the opportunity to participate in exciting Port Adventures  that bring this magical setting to life. A featured adventure  in Ålesund, Norway, created exclusively for Disney Cruise Line, will immerse guests in the charm and splendor of Norway, with the help of Anna and Elsa, in an enchanting fairytale village. Other excursions take Disney Cruise Line guests to discover the natural beauty, stunning architecture, and rich Scandinavian culture depicted in the film.  Seven- and nine-night cruises begin June 6, 2015, sailing through Norwegian fjords and visiting ports such as Stavanger, Geiranger, Molde, Olden, and Bergen. Olaf's Summertime Freeze at Castaway Cay:
With the help of everyone's favorite snowman,  Disney Cruise Line  will lower the temperature at Castaway Cay with the debut of Olaf's Summertime Freeze, an area where  non-alcoholic beverages will be served in souvenir containers . The creative menu will feature a wide assortment of drinks inspired by the characters and elements of "Frozen." Olaf's Summertime Freeze opens in the summer of 2015 near the Pelican Point tram station, close to the family beach.
