The works have been awarded to Corsán-Corviam, Construcción for 5.5 million.
The Balearic Islands Port Authority (APB) has begun the refurbishment and improvement of the South docks of the Port of Ibiza, awarding the contract to Corsán-Corviam, Construcción, SA, for €5.5 million (€5,556,899.70). The company has seven months to complete the work, starting from the signing of the site handover report, which is expected to take place
within two to three weeks.
Corsán-Corviam, Construcción has emerged as the winner of the open competition, which attracted a total of eighteen companies and joint ventures, with a tender budget of 8.2 million euros (€8,279,052.00).
The project to remodel the seafront of the port of Ibiza, financed by the APB, is characterized by its maximum permeability between the port and the city, with the creation of a public square and a bike lane, the elimination of physical barriers between both spaces and the maximum restriction of the presence of vehicles in the area.
In this space, a new single-story building of six hundred square meters is planned - four hundred of building and two hundred of porch - in which several premises will be located to serve the sports marinas, such as warehouses, changing rooms and offices, in addition to a premise of one hundred and thirty square meters intended for public uses, such as a tourist office, toilets or others.
