The Vigo docks received nearly 14,000 visitors this week.
It will visit the Transatlantic Pier up to ten times throughout the year with 25,000 people visiting the city.
Throughout today, a total of 212 passengers are scheduled to board from Vigo and another 219 to disembark.
The Port of Vigo will receive a visit today from nearly 2,500 people, including passengers and crew, aboard the MSC Opera, in what will be its ninth stop in the city, out of a total of ten planned in its 2014 campaign.
The ship is scheduled to arrive at 8:00 a.m. from St. Peter Port. It will depart for Lisbon around 3:00 p.m. During its stay in our city, it will carry a total of 1,728 passengers and 688 crew members.
With this new stop, as has become customary throughout this year, another regular embarkation operation will take place in the port of Vigo on the MSC Opera's Northern Europe itinerary. In fact, today a total of 212 passengers are scheduled to embark in Vigo and another 219 to disembark.
The MSC Opera belongs to the Lyric class and served as the company's flagship until the MSC Musica entered service in 2006. It has a capacity for 2,200 passengers, displaces 59,000 tons, and is 251 meters long by 28 meters wide.
Throughout this week, the Port of Vigo received the visit of nearly 14,000 people in a total of four cruise ship stops, those made by the Celebrity Infinity, the Oceana (whose visit was not planned), the Independence of the Seas and today's with the MSC Opera.
