Madrid, January 10, 2019. Costa Cruises begins its most fascinating itinerary tomorrow in Barcelona: The World Cruise. For the twelfth time, the Italian company is offering travelers a unique voyage of more than three months, which will end in Venice on April 27.
For 107 days, the Costa Luminosa will be home to 2,300 passengers embarking on one of the most special journeys of their lives. This year, 538 Spanish passengers will join this Costa to enjoy this unique experience.
Since the Around the World cruise first set sail in 2011, approximately 60,000 Costa passengers have completed one of the three legs of the complete itinerary, including 5,000 Spaniards.
The 2019 voyage, which will last just over three months, will allow passengers to visit wonders of the 5 continents, cross 3 oceans and get to know 42 destinations, before ending in Venice on April 27, 2019.
The 2019 Round the World voyage aboard the Costa Luminosa, traveling west, will visit destinations such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Easter Island, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, Dubai, Oman, and Jordan. Tickets for the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Round the World voyage are now available. These itineraries will focus on Africa and the Americas, allowing travelers to experience destinations such as India, the Maldives, South Africa, Tierra del Fuego, Chile, Peru, and New York.
