Olga Piqueras is leaving Intercruises Shoreside and Port Services after 21 years with the company. She has held various positions throughout the company. In 2004, Olga joined Intercruises as Director of Operations, responsible for international operations worldwide, covering more than 50 countries and 300 ports, before becoming Managing Director in 2016. In 2021, Olga took on a new role as Managing Director of Port Operations to lead a strategic project to reorganize Intercruises' port agency and logistics business, focusing on digitalization and sustainability.

Next June, Olga will join CCTG, Catalonia Cruise Terminal G, as General Manager. CCTG recently began construction on the last cruise terminal to be built in the Port of Barcelona, which will be used by Royal Caribbean Group and is located on the Adossat dock. This new terminal is scheduled to be operational in the spring of 2027 and represents an investment of over €85 million. According to the agreement signed between the Port Authority and the City Council, this will be the last terminal built in Barcelona, and its construction will conclude with the closure of the South Terminal at the World Trade Center in 2026.
Catalonia Cruise Terminal G is a joint venture of CTI and Royal Caribbean Group.
CTI, Cruise Terminals International, was founded in 2023 and is 90% owned by funds advised by ICON Infrastructure LLP and 10% by Royal Caribbean Group. They are independent developers, owners, and operators of cruise terminals worldwide, working on both exclusive Royal Caribbean Group projects and projects that also serve other cruise lines.
Virginia Quintairos, Business Development Director at Intercruises, who has worked closely with Olga over the years, commented: “We are grateful and fortunate for the legacy and lasting impact Olga leaves on the company, along with all the colleagues she has guided, led, and inspired, instilling a passion for what we do. We wish her all the best in her career.”.
