The Italian company's current flagship, which entered service last March, made its first call today at the Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal, the city's most modern cruise terminal, inaugurated by the Costa Group in December 2021. To mark this first call, an event was held on board the ship, attended by local and Italian authorities.
Throughout the winter of 2022/23, the Costa Toscana will offer week-long itineraries in the Arabian Gulf, departing from Dubai. A total of 13 cruises will run from December 17, 2022, to March 11, 2023, also available with direct flights, ensuring maximum comfort and eliminating the need to worry about transfers to the ship or luggage upon arrival at the airport.
Until January 14, 2023, the itinerary will be dedicated to the United Arab Emirates and Oman, with extended stops, including two days and one night, in Dubai, Muscat, and Abu Dhabi. On the New Year's Eve cruise, the overnight stop will be solely in Dubai, for a truly memorable New Year's celebration. From January 14 to March 11, Qatar will once again be among the ship's destinations, with stops in Dubai, Doha, Muscat, and Abu Dhabi.
The company offers a wide range of excursions to discover these wonderful destinations from a unique perspective, combining the modernity of futuristic architecture with the charm of the desert and ancient traditions. For example, in Dubai, a very special excursion is by helicopter, offering a breathtaking panorama of this incredible city. The off-road desert excursion is also not to be missed. In Muscat, guests can enjoy a cruise along the Omani coast aboard a dhow, a traditional wooden boat, or an excursion to the spectacular Wadi Al Arbeien canyon, with its lakes and pools carved into the colorful mountains of Oman. In Abu Dhabi, guests can choose to visit one of the city's three most famous theme parks: Ferrari World, for speed and racing enthusiasts; Warner Bros. World, to meet famous cartoon characters; and Yas Waterworld, a huge water park with 43 attractions including slides, water features, and pools. Or you can relax on the exclusive beach of Al Maya Island, a true earthly paradise just minutes from Abu Dhabi, or visit the Louvre, a true masterpiece of contemporary architecture, where you can admire works of art from all over the world.

For golf lovers, there is also the "cruise and golf" package, which combines the best of golf with the best of cruising, and will allow golfers to play at some of the most beautiful clubs in the Arabian Gulf during the ship's stops, even at night.
The onboard offerings on Tuscany will also be tailored to each destination. Starting with the culinary experience, curated by our Chef of the Sea, Ángel León, along with Bruno Barbieri and Hélène Darroze. These three world-renowned chefs will showcase the cruise destinations through their flavors, with Destination Dishesavailable in the main restaurants. These dishes interpret the traditions and flavors of the location to be visited the following day and are included in the cruise price. Additionally, the three menus at the Archipelago restaurants, one for each chef, are designed to explore the seas being sailed through gastronomy.
The Costa Toscana is a floating “smart city,” capable of running on liquefied natural gas and equipped with cutting-edge technological innovations designed to reduce its environmental impact.
