Court number 2 of Zaragoza has authorized the company Up & Fly Tours, tourism division of the Meridional Group, to use and market this emblematic brand that has almost half a century of history and has written the great milestones of Spanish tourism thanks to its innovative character and the quality of its trips, two aspects that made the company the reference wholesaler.
To relaunch this project, the company has brought on board two key figures from the former Politours: Carlos Ruiz as Managing Director and Nuria Rodríguez as Product Manager. Prior to the company's dissolution, both professionals were part of Politours, with Ruiz serving as Deputy Managing Director and Rodríguez as Product Manager for Central Europe.
“The goal with the relaunch of this brand is to regain the trust and loyalty of Politours' regular travelers and to continue working with the same level of excellence and efficiency that has always characterized the travel wholesaler,” says Carlos Ruiz.
The new Politours is already working on its new service offerings, which will be shaped by the incorporation of new aspects demanded by post-pandemic travelers, such as safety, technology, sustainability, and social responsibility. Politours will continue to operate as an independent tour operator and will focus its offerings on river cruises, special flights, and a wide range of itineraries across five continents. It is also working on a new inbound tourism project to help position Spain as a cultural and high-quality tourism destination.
The official launch of this new phase for Politours will take place at the Fitur 2022 trade fair, where the brand will present its service offering to Spanish and Portuguese travel agents, as well as Latin American tour operators.
