MSC Cruises announced today the extension of the suspension of operations for the MSC Magnifica due to the new lockdown measures recently implemented by the Greek government, which are expected to remain in place beyond the holiday period. As part of these measures, passenger ships are currently only permitted to make technical stops in Greek ports until January 6.

Due to the uncertainty of when the ports will open, whether on January 7 or if these measures will be extended – as seems to be the case – the Company has made the decision, for the well-being of passengers, to postpone the restart of operations for MSC Magnifica until February 14, 2021.
Passengers with a booking on MSC Magnifica prior to its current restart date will be able to transfer their bookings to MSC Grandiosa from January 10, 2021, when the ship is scheduled to restart operations in the Western Mediterranean with stops in Italy and Malta.
MSC Cruises ships operate under the Company's health and hygiene protocol.
